About Me

Lucie M LaFrance wasborn and raised in Haiti where she completed her high school ( Rheto b, Philo A) au College St Francois D’Assise in Port-au-Prince. She has been working as a Registered Respiratory Therapist for the past 23 years in some of the biggest intensive care units in South Florida’s hospitals. She worked as an adjunct at Miami Dade College the past 12 years . She attended Miami Dade college and earned an Associate in Science in Respiratory Care. She attended Florida International University while pursuing a double bachelor in Public and Health Administration and a corporate masters in Business administration. She is well known not just for providing patient safe care with compassion, but also for her weekly facebook live program where she positively influences, educates, informs and transforms people’s lives.
She founded: Hope for Haitian Children Education which sponsors children in Haiti with school supplies and tuition .She loves music, reading, walking in the park, sports empowerment, and Finances.

HOPE spells H.O.P.E

This book speaks about the author who left Haiti as a teen- ager after high school to join her siblings in Miami, Florida. to fulfill her dreams in search of better life and education. Her multiple struggles urged her to work very hard to beat the lim- itations of poverty, language, cultural chaos, and the opinions and judgments from other people. Her resilience prompted her to serve and trust God, even in the worst moments in life. Consequently, HOPE spells H.O.P.E. is the acronym that describes how the author overcame limitations and barriers, faced all the challenges, and achieved her goals with optimism and perseverance. Hope Spells H. O. P. E. stands for: Honesty, Opportunism, Perseverance and Endurance.
